Crappie Fishing Report Date: 04/27/10

Crappie fishing is decent....  Crappie fishing here on Weiss Lake has been decent over the past week. The crappie have spawned out and are getting ready to move back out to the deeper water for the summer months. But right now they are holding around and under the docks and can be caught by shooting small jigs under the docks on the bright sunny days. I have caught a few nice stringers of crappie trolling jigs out in front of the docks but once the sun gets up they seem to go under the docks. The dock shooting should be good over the next several weeks. I will also be fishing at Lake Guntersville for the blue gill and shell cracker. They start to bed around the full moon in April and will continue into the month of June. If you want to book a trip shooting docks for crappie or the non stop action of the blue gill fishing give me a call ASAP because I only have a few days left open. I will be back out on the water several days this week and I will be fishing for both crappie and blue gill so I hope to have a good report for you in a couple of days...Good Fishin to All"
